Perennials & Annuals:
  • Plant annuals after danger of frost (after full moon in May).
  • Fertilize perennial beds with a balanced granular fertilizer, cultivate it into the soil, and water.
  • Begin to harden off seedlings (slowly acclimate to the outdoors).
  • Divide perennials.
Roses:
  • Fine prune before the onset of new growth (for more information please refer to the accompanying rose pruning guide).
  • Fertilize beds with 100% organic 10-6-4 at the end of the month (2 handfuls per bush) cultivate into soil, and water.
Lawn:
  • Fertilize lawns with a balanced lawn fertilizer.
